Rudolf Hirth Du Frènes 1846 Gräfentonna - 1916 Miltenberg
KLEINES, ANMUTIGES MÄDCHEN MIT ALPENVEILCHEN 50 x 40 cm. Öl/Lwd. Rechts unten signiert. Anmerkung: Das Bild ist am Moosmühlenweiher zwischen Bad Aibling und Bad Feilnbach entstanden. Ein Vergleichsbild findet sich im Besitz der Bayerischen Staatsgemäldesammlungen, Neue Pinakothek. Zu diesem Bild formulierte Eberhard Ruhmer: "...daß vom späten Hirth du Frènes ... noch mehr gleichwertiges auftauchen mag...". In: Der Leibl-Kreis und die Reine Malerei, München 1984, S. 402 f. Laut Besitzertradition diente als Modell Wally Krebs, die Tochter des damaligen Bad Aiblinger Bezirksarztes. 1991 tauchte ein weiteres Bildnis des Mädchens auf (Sotheby´s München). (99373)
