Mosasaurier waren riesige, fleischfressende Reptilien, die während des Zeitalters der Dinosaurier die Meere bedrohten. Ausgestattet mit kräftigen, paddelartigen Gliedmaßen und großen Kiefern mit messerscharfen Zähnen, ernährte sich dieses außergewöhnliche Meereswesen von Fischen, Schildkröten, Weichtieren und Schalentieren. Sein langer, stromlinienförmiger Körper machte den Mosasaurier zu einem flinken und anmutigen Raubtier.
