Anmerkung:
Der französische Künstler war Mitbegründer des Nouveau Réalisme. Ab Dezember 1949 bis 1954 gestaltete er mit Raynond Hains (1926-2005) zerrissene Plakate. Die Freunde bezeichneten sich als „affichistes“ (Plakatabreißer), ihre Werke als „affiches lacérées“ (abgerissene Plakate).
