Terrakotta, geformt und gebrannt. Einmal auf getrepptem Holzsockel. Jeweils mit dicht gestelltem Personal in Hoch- und Flachrelief mit rundbogigem Abschluss, angedeuteter Landschaft und Architekturstaffage. Lucas Faydherbe war die meiste Zeit seines Lebens in seiner Geburtsstadt Mechelen tätig, von einem dreijährigen Aufenthalt in Antwerpen abgesehen.

Anmerkung:
Eine Kreuzabnahme Christi, die einst Faydherbe zugeschrieben wurde, wird in der Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto Kanada unter der Inventarnummer AGOID.29181 verwahrt.
