Eine Dünenlandschaft, wie sie uns in vielen Gemälden aus van Goyens Hand begegnet mit einem im großen Schwung in die Bildmitte führenden Weg, der von Wagenradspuren durchfurcht ist. An seinem linken Rand eine Böschung mit Weidezaun, rechts zwei fein ausgeführte Personen und Schafe, im Mittelgrund ein Gehöft.
