Der alte Kentaur

In Carrara-Marmor gearbeitete Skulptur, nach der bekannten in den Kapitolinischen Museen ausgestellten Skulptur des alten Kentaur, einer römischen Kopie nach einem hellenistischen Original in grauschwarzem Marmor, gefunden 1736 in der Villa Adriana bei Tivoli.

Carrara marble sculpture after the famous sculpture of the ancient centaur exhibited in the Capitoline Museums, a Roman copy after a Hellenistic model in grey-black marble, found in Hadrian’s Villa near Tivoli in 1736.
