In ziselierten und vergoldeten Bronzesabots stehende geschweifte und gekantete Beine den spiegelfurnierten Korpus tragend mit dreischübiger Zarge und einer bewegten Wandvorlage, der zwei Kompartimentfächer vorgelagert sind. Diese und die Wandvorlage sowie die Zarge mit vergoldeter Bronzezier. Eingelegte Lederschreibplatte. Zwei Schlüssel vorhanden.
Anmerkung:
G. Durand lieferte zahlreiche Möbel an die Paläste Trianon, Saint-Cloud, war Ebeniste du Rois und belieferte auch die königlichen Paläste. Er war 1834-1878 an vielen Ausstellungen beteiligt und erlangte 1855 eine Bronzemedaille sowie 1889 auf der Weltausstellung eine Silbermedaille.
