Blick auf einen Ausschnitt eines Zirkuskarussells mit Pferden in Bewegung. Im Vordergrund eine junge Frau im Damensitz auf einem weißen Pferd mit schwarzen Punkten, sich mit wehender Kleidung an der Befestigungsstange des Pferdes festhaltend. Im Hintergrund weitere Reiterin sichtbar. Von oben ragen noch die roten Stoffballen des Daches herab. Malerei in raschem Pinselduktus.
Anmerkung:
Er stellte 1891 zum ersten Mal in der Royal Academy aus. Zu seinen weiteren frühen Aufträgen gehörten die Decken der Sakristei und der Bibliothek der Unitarian Chapel in Liverpool. Moira war von 1923 bis 1932 Rektor des Edinburgh College of Art und Gründungsmitglied der National Portrait Society. (1330303) (18)
