Beigegeben ein Gutachten von Dr. Klaus Ertz, Lingen, vom 14. Februar 2022 (in Kopie vorliegend).
COUPLE WITH SPINDLE AND HEN
Oil on panel. Parquetted.
22 x 30.2 cm.
Accompanied by an expert´s report by Dr Klaus Ertz, Lingen, dated 14 February 2022, in copy.
According to Dr Ertz, the painting’s interpretation goes back to a copperplate engraving in which the “hen toucher” has noticed that the hen is “locked“ in response to which the woman holds out the spindle to him as a coarse and crude eroticization.
This object has been individually compared to the information in the Art Loss Register data bank and is not registered there as stolen or missing.
