Ein profiliertes Lesepult auf dem eine aufgeschlagene Missale liegt wird von einer Wolkenbank überfangen, auf der das Jesuskind mit einer Lilie sitzt, dessen Hand von dem Heiligen Antonius von Padua in seiner braunen Kutte liebkost wird. Während der Heilige nur einen Nimbus beansprucht, hat Cignaroli das Jesuskind mit einem Doppelnimbus bedacht und seine Bedeutung somit erhöht. Zwei Cherubim füllen die rechte obere Ecke und versinnbildlichen den Gehalt der himmlischen Sphäre. (1301462) (13)
