Auf bronzierten vegetabilen Füßen der gekehlte und profilierte Sockel in rot-weiß geädertem Marmor. Darauf die Bronzegruppe als Figura serpentinata mit Perseus, Andromeda auf seinen Händen tragend. Diese in verdrehter Körperbewegung die Arme emporgereckt.

Anmerkung:
Poseidon hatte Andromeda nach dem Spruch eines Orakels an einen Felsen am Meer geschmiedet, um sie dem Seeungeheuer Ketos zu opfern. Perseus jedoch besiegte es, befreite Andromeda und nahm sie zur Frau. (130009152) (13)
