Auf profiliertem grauen Marmorsockel. Die weißen Marmorfiguren, jeweils eines gegenständig auf einem Fels sitzenden Putto, mit Haarschleifen geziert und ein Tableau in grau gestreiftem Marmor haltend. Die Zehen der Füße etwas besch. Alters- und Gebrauchssp.
Carrier-Belleuse wurde von Napoleon III für zahlreiche Projekte während des Neuaufbaus von Paris von 1851-1870 herangezogen. Einer seiner bekanntesten Studenten war Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). (†) (13013137) (13)
