Ganz dem großen Vorbild Giovanni Bandini folgend Juno auf einem Erdstück stehend, neben ihr ein vollplastisch wiedergegebener Pfau, der ihr attributiv ebenso zukommt wie die Mondsichel. Das Original wurde von Bandini für das Studiolo von Francesco I im Palazzo Vecchio geschaffen (1570-1573), zusammen mit weiteren Götterfiguren, die von Vencenzo Dati (Venus), Domenico Poggini (Pluto), Vincenzo de‘Rossi (Vulcan), Stoldo Lorenzi (Amphitrite), Bartholomeo Ammannati (Ops), Giambologna (Apollo und Elia Candido (Boreus) gefertigt wurden.
