Bronze, gegossen, ziseliert und vergoldet. Als antike Tazza mit Maskaronhandhaben gestaltet und einer zentralen Szene aus der fünften Ekloge der Hirtengedichte von Virgil, bei der die beiden Hirten Mopsus und Menalcas sich in einer rebenumrankten idyllischen Höhle zusammenfinden, wonach sie hinterher Geschenke tauschen. So erhält Mopsus von Menalca die Hirtenflöte, die er hier schon spielt, und Menalcas erhält einen wertvollen Hirtenstab. (1301915) (13)
