In einer arkadischen Landschaft sitzt im Zentrum des Bildes eine in einer luftigen Tunika gehüllte weibliche Figur neben einer dorischen Säule, im Begriff zahlreiche um sie fliegende weiße Tauben zu berühren oder zu füttern.
