Blick auf das Lager einer Armee, die aus mit Gewehren und Hellebarden bewaffneten Affen besteht. Rechts ein kleiner Tisch, auf dem ein aufgeschlagenes Buch, wohl zur Unterzeichnung eines Vertrages liegt, dahinter zwei hohe Zelte und eine hellblaue Fahne. Linksseitig auf dem erhöhten Absatz einer Mauer ein weiterer Affe mit Uniform und Gewehr stehend. Im Vordergrund links stehend ein vornehmer Offizier dieser Armee in weiß-blauer und beiger Kleidung, mit Stiefeln und einen federgeschmückten Hut in seiner linken Hand haltend. Interessante Wiedergabe eines ungewöhnlichen Motivs in überwiegend beige-brauner, roter und blauer Farbgebung.
