Stadtansicht mit dem auf einem Felssporn stehenden Schloss Wildeck und der Stadtkirche Sankt Martin in weichen differenzierten Farbtönen. Der Farbauftrag in impressionistischer Manier mit vielen violetten Farbtupfern vermittelt den Eindruck einer durch den Mond in leicht schummriges Licht getauchten Stadt.
