Das große hochformatige Gemälde zeigt in einer großen Parkanlage mehrere, mit hohen Sonnenblumen bewachsene Beete zwischen kleineren Wegen. Im Vordergrund mehrere prachtvolle Dahlien in weißer, rosafarbener, orangefarbener und rosagestreifter Farbigkeit. Die spätsommerliche Sonne bestrahlt die prachtvollen Blumen und wirft Licht und Schattenflecken auf Pflanzen und Wege. Im Hintergrund diverse, dicht stehende Bäume, die den Ausblick auf den Himmel fast ganz verdecken. Stimmungsvolle Impression eines herrlichen Sommertags. (1271988) (18)
