Das erste Hinterglasbild zeigt das Brustbildnis Christi mit Dornenkrone und Schilfrohr als Spottzepter. Er steht vor dunklem Hintergrund und sein nach hinten geneigtes Haupt ist von einem großen gelb-goldenen Nimbus hinterfangen. Seine glänzenden Augen, aus denen Tränen herabfallen, sind ganz zum Himmel gerichtet. Er wird als leidender Schmerzensmann dargestellt, mit Blutstropfen auf Gesicht und Oberkörper.
Das zweite Bild gibt das Brustbildnis Mariens wieder, mit rotem Gewand, Schleier und dunkelblauem Mantel. Ihr Haupt wird wiederum von einem großen gold-gelben Nimbus hinterfangen. Sie hat den Kopf leicht nach hinten gewandt und mit traurigem und sorgenvollem Gesichtsausdruck schaut sie nach oben gen Himmel. Feine einfühlsame Darstellungen. Kleine Rahmenschäden.
