Die Réaumur-Skala geht auf René-Antoine Ferchault de Réaumur (1683-1757) zurück und wurde seit 1730 zur Messung der Temperatur verwendet. Sie wird häufig der Celsius-Skala gegenübergestellt, in diesem Fall wird das Thermometer von einem Barometer unterfangen. Thermormeter und Barometer mit weißem Email und schwarzen Emailfarben bezeichnet sowie durch eine blaue zentrale Windrose dekoriert. Das Barometer mit vergoldetem, à jour gearbeitetem Zeiger. Umlaufender Louis XVI-Dekor mit plastischen Blüten, Strahlendekor und Cherubim, Stabbündeln und Maskaron. Nicht verglast.
