In einem dunkleren Innenraum die Madonna in rotem Gewand und blauem Mantel, wohlfrisiertem dunkelblondem Haar, einem kleinen Schleier und einem Strahlennimbus. Sie hat ihre schmalen Hände sorgsam vor der Brust zusammengelegt, hat den Kopf mit dem kleinen Mund und den geröteten Wangen gesenkt und blickt liebevoll auf den auf einem weißen Laken vor ihr liegenden nackten Jesusknaben herab. Sein Kopf mit den blonden Haaren und einem Nimbus ruht auf einem Kissen, während seine rechte Hand leicht das Laken angehoben hat. Malerei in geringer Farbigkeit, die Ruhe und Würde ausstrahlt.
