Beide Jardinièren gearbeitet in geflammtem Mahagoni und vergoldeten Bronzen. Vorliegende Möbel haben eine geschweifte Basis mit zwei bronzierten Löwentatzenfüßen und geschwungenen Beinen, diese kanneliert und mit Palmettenfries bedacht. Halbrunde Zarge mit Zinneinsatz, dieser gefasst und mit zwei Ringösen versehen. Rückwärtig verspiegelt.
Anmerkung:
Jacob Desmalter war Sohn des Georges I Jacob, einer der bekanntesten und illustren Ebenisten der Louis XVI-Epoche. Jacob Desmalter, der eigentlich die Vornamen Francois-Honoré-Georges hatte, übernahm die Werkstatt mit seinem Bruder Georges II Jacob. Sie wurden die wohl bedeutendsten Ebenisten der Empire-Zeit. Sie wurden für die Produktion von erlesenen Möbeln von königlichen Auftraggebern bedacht. (1261816) (13)

Curved base with two bronzed lion paws and curved, grooved legs decorated with a palmette frieze. Semicircular frame with polychrome pewter inserts with two rings each. Mirrored at the back. With minimal damage.
