In Blue John gearbeitet über dreieckigem Marmorgrund mit gestuftem Aufbau und Ormolu-Perlbandbesatz. Hochgezogene Satyrbeine, den ovoiden Korpus tragend, dessen Hals durchbrochen in Ormolu gestaltet ist, mit Steckdeckel, ebenfalls in Blue John und Zapfenknauf in Ormolu. Der Entwurf wird Matthew Boulton (1728-1809) zugeschrieben, der in den 1770er-Jahren zusammen mit John Fothergill (1730-1782) die industrielle Produktion solcher Montierungen nach französischem Vorbild entwickelt hat.
