Auf bronzereifverziertem, grün-weiß geäderten, wohl sekundären Marmorsockel die in feuervergoldeter Bronze gestaltete Deckelvase. Auf Löwentatzenfüßen stehende gefußte ovoide Form mit eingezogenem Hals mit sinkenden Zügen und Stülpdeckel mit fruktalem Knauf. Seiten mit figürlichem kindlichen Nereidendekor und gefüllten Füllhörnern nebst Maskarons. (1261991) (13)

France, second half of the 18th century.
Lidded, fire-gilt bronze vase on green-white veined marble base, probably of a later date, decorated with bronze ring. Slightly wobbly.
