Gouache auf Karton, hinter Glas in ornamentalisierten Messingrähmchen. Weite Landschaften mit Darstellungen historischer Schlachtenszenen mit je einer auf einer Anhöhe befindlichen Gruppe berittener Personen mit Baumrepoussoir. L'Enfant war spezialisiert auf Schlachten- und Landschaftsszenen. Besonders erfolgreich waren seine Schlachtenszenen des Österreichischen Erbfolgekrieges.
