Kastenaufbau in ebonisiertem Holz, hoch-sechskantig, die Front verglast. Nach innen vertieft ziehende Rahmung mit Boulle-Dekoration in rotem Schildpatt und Messing. Auf der schwarzen Fläche, die das Zifferblatt aufnimmt, ebenfalls Boulle-Intarsien, unter Verwendung von Schildpatt und Perlmutt. Große Zifferblattscheibe in Alabaster, umzogen von vergoldetem und ziseliertem Bronzering. Römische Stunden in aufgesetzten Emailkartuschen in dunkelblau auf weiß, jeweils von wappenartigen Rahmungen umzogen. Die Zeiger in Form von Pfeilen. Achttagegehwerk.
