Im Mittelpunkt des Gemäldes in einem Waldstück ein steinerner Brunnen mit Wasserspeiern; an dessen oberem Ende eine steinerne Vase mit einem prachtvollen bunten, leuchtenden Blumenbouquet. Um den Brunnen sitzen ermattet ein schwarz-weißer und ein rot-weißer Jagdhund mit Beute, zu der gehören: ein großes Wildschwein, über dem ein Gewehr liegt, sowie ein geflochtener Korb mit diversen Vögeln, von denen einige auch auf dem Waldboden liegen. Auf der linken Bildseite ist zudem ein fliegender Falke zu erkennen, der eine kleine Schlange hält. Jagdstillleben mit starker Hell-Dunkel-Betonung. (1231021) (3) (18)
