Die Figuren jeweils auf rechteckigem Holzsockel montiert. Expressives Schreinfigurenpaar aus dem Ahnenkult. Dargestellt sind Novizen der Chokwe vor der Initiation, anlässlich derer sie die klassische Tatauierung erhalten und nach der sie als vollwertige Erwachsene in die Gemeinschaft aufgenommen werden.
