Height without base: 101 cm.
Base signed „Ludovico Bertoni“ and Sons, i.e. “Figli Scultori Pietrasanta” on the back, a sculpture manufactory operating in Pietrasanta, Luca since 1905.
Carved in white and pink veined marble on separately carved oval reticular and polished base. Full-figure portrait of a young girl with a lion’s skin strapped over her right shoulder. Holding grapes, she is seated on a block-like pedestal.
