LA PENSÉE, 1930 Bronze mit brauner, teils glänzender Patina.
27,9 x 15 x 17,5 cm.
Seitlich links am Sockel monogrammiert „M“, am hinteren Sockelrand Gießerstempel „CIRE PERDUE C.VALSUANI“.

Auf einem flachen Sockel die sitzende, nackte junge Frau, die Beine eng an den Körper herangezogen. Mit ihrem linken Arm stützt sie sich am Boden ab, während sie ihren rechten Arm erhoben hat und ihren Unterarm an die Stirn ihres gesenkten Kopfes hält.

Monogrammed “M” sideways on the base, Foundry mark “CIRE PERDUE C.VALSUANI” at the back of the edge of the base.
Limited edition no. 4/ 6.

Young naked woman seated on the flat base, her legs drawn up tightly towards her body. She is supporting her weight with her left arm on the floor, while her right arm is raised with the forehead of her lowered head resting on her forearm.

Important private collection, Southern Germany.
