Die erste Tafel zeigt im hohen Innenraum eines Tempels den zwölfjährigen Jesusknaben in gold glänzendem Gewand und von einem Nimbus umgeben, mit der Hand auf ein aufgeschlagenes Buch weisend und daraus vortragend, umgeben von einigen Schriftgelehrten. Im Vordergrund auf der rechten Seite Maria mit Nimbus und weißem Kopftuch, blauem Mantel und rotem Untergewand, neben ihr Josef in rotem Gewand. Erzählerische Malerei in teils prachtvollen, besonders herausgearbeiteten Gewändern, unter reicher Verwendung von Gold. Retuschen. (1220352) (2) (18)
