An einer Küste gelegen ein ruinöser Architekturwinkel mit eingestellten dorischen Säulen und teils noch vorhandenem, jedoch von Vegetation bewachsenem Gebälk. Die Figurenstaffage in sanfter Tonierung gehalten und die Höhe der Ruine verdeutlichend.
Anmerkung:
Das Gemälde ähnelt bezüglich der Bögen und der Figurenstaffage besonders einem Gemälde, welches Viviano Codazzi zugeschrieben wird und unter der Inventarnummer 1037 im Museo del Settecento veneziano di Ca' Rezzonico in Venedig verwahrt wird. (1222051) (4) (13)
