Nussbaum, geschnitzt, mit verschiedenen Steinen eingelegt. Über vier Löwentatzenfüßen die profilierte Basis mit kastenförmigem Aufbau, die Ecklösungen mit figürlichem Schnitzdekor. Die Seiten und der Stülpscharnierdeckel mit Pietra dura-Einlagen auf schwarzem Lavagrund mit verschiedenen Steinarten wie Lapislazuli, Giallo di Siena und grünem Marmor. Allseitig mit Maskaron- bzw. Ornamentdekor, den Geist des Manierismus wiederaufleben lassend. Der Deckel mit zentraler Darstellung der Lilie aus dem florentiner Stadtwappen, welche von abstrahierten Delfinkorpussen umspielt wird. Die Innenwände hinter den Pietra dura-Platten verschiebbar.
