In einer grünen hölzernen Gartenlaube eine elegant gekleidete Dame mit gold farbener Kopfbedeckung, die vor einer Bank einen kleinen Jungen empfängt, der ihr mit seinen Händen etwas überreichen möchte, mit ernstem Blick schaut sie ihn an. Über die Bank hat sie ein Paar gelbe Handschuhe gelegt sowie ihren Fächer und einen langen Stock angelehnt. Im Vordergrund rechts ist ein kleiner Hund zu sehen. Links der Gartenlaube, an einem großen Kaktus vorbei, der in einem Holzgefäß steht, Blick auf eine hohe Kirche und auf einen Obelisken, der teils beschriftet ist.
