Spätgotische Schnitzfigur einer heiligen Nonne mit Buch und drei Kronen als Attribut

Eichenholz, vollrund geschnitzt, an der Rückseite geglättet. Standfigur, Stand- und Spielbein auf mitgeschnitzter Plinthe. Das Haupt bedeckt mit einem Nonnenschleier über gegürtetem Kleid, der geknotete Strick neben gekrüppelten Schüsselfalten herabziehend. Das Buch in der Linken geöffnet, die Rechte hält drei ineinander gesteckte Kronen, welche auf die Papsttiara verweisen und die Figur damit als Heilige Elisabeth identifizieren lassen. Wobei das Nonnenkleid ebenso auf die Heilige Birgitta deutet, für was auch die drei Kronen als Wappenzeichen Schwedens sprechen. Qualitätvolle Schnitzerei, ungefasst, nussbraun gebeizt.
