In Nahsicht der vom Kreuz herabgenommene Christus, der auf einer beigen Steinplatte sitzt, wohl als Verweis auf das Grab; er ist nur mit einem Lendenschurz bekleidet, mit Stigmata und der Wunde an seiner Brustseite vor dunklem Hintergrund. Er wird von Maria in rotem Gewand und dunkelblauem Umhang liebevoll umarmt. Hinter ihr stehend Johannes. Jesu linker Arm wird sorgsam von Maria Magdalena gehalten. Hinter ihr in rotem Gewand mit Turban dürfte Nikodemus stehen, der nach der Überlieferung mit einer mächtigen Zange den Nagel aus der Hand Christi gezogen haben soll. Retuschen. (1220371) (2) (18)
