In einem Innenraum ein an der Wand befestigter, metallener Tisch, auf dem ein rotes rundes Tablett steht. Auf diesem befinden sich neben einem Apfel eine halb gefüllte Karaffe und ein Glas, daneben ein Löffel, auf diesem spiegeln sich zahlreiche Lichtreflexe wieder. Malerei in fast geometrischer Anordnung, bei der die Farben Rot und Blau-Grau überwiegen.

Der Künstler studierte an der École des Beaux-Arts in Dijon und dann in Paris. Nach seiner ersten Sendung für den Salon französischer Künstler gewann er verschiedene Medaillen: Bronzemedaille 1927, Silber 1935, Gold 1948. (1210617) (18)
