Auf einer Brücke mit schmiedeeisernem schwarzen Geländer eine Frau im langen Kleid mit rotem Mantel. Auf ihrem linken Arm ein kleines Mädchen in rosa Kleid. Mit ihren braunen aufmerksamen Augen schaut sie direkt aus dem Bild heraus. In ihrer rechten Hand hält sie einen kleineren gelben Beutel. Hinter ihr vier weitere elegante Damen mit weiten Mänteln und Kopfbedeckung, teils schnellen Schrittes über die Brücke gehend. Über das Brückengeländer hinaus ein braunes Gebäude in weiter Landschaft unter hohem bewegten blau-grauen Himmel, der die Atmosphäre eines kalten Herbst- oder beginnenden Wintertages vermittelt.
