Der italienische Futurist erhielt seine künstlerische Ausbildung in Rovereto, bevor er 1913 nach Rom zog. Dort wurde er mit den Futuristen Giacomo Balla (1871-1958) und Umberto Boccioni (1882-1916) bekannt, in deren Kreis er 1915 aufgenommen wurde. 1919 eröffnete er in Rovereto ein futuristisches Kunsthaus und 1959 das erste futuristische Museum, die Galleria Museo Depero.

Accompanied by a confirmation of authenticity by the Archivio Unico per il Catalogo delle Opere Futuriste di Fortunato Depero, dated 3 April 2019 in Rovereto. Not examined out of frame.
