A PAIR OF BRONZE FIGURAL GROUPSHeight of the bronzes: 27 and 28 cm.
Height of base: 19 cm each.
France, 18th century.
Round stand with palmette leaf décor and pearl edging. White cylindrical marble shaft surmounted by figural group depicting a rape or love scene. Finely nuanced brown patina, partially shiny. Both figures dressed in antique attire.
