Niedriger weiter Horizont in Luftperspektive dargestellt mit dem Betrachter nahem Uferstück, darauf drei Reiher, wobei der Linke soeben von einem Falken attakiert worden ist. Weitere Falken und Reiher sind in der Luft dargestellt, anderes Federvieh wird in friedlicherer Situation in natürlicher Umgebung gezeigt. Einen (weniger prächtigen) Kampf mit Reihern zeigt ein Gemälde in Dunkerque, Musée des Beaux-Arts, Inventarnummer P. 279. Rest.

In parcel-gilt wooden frame.
Low, broad horizon in aerial perspective with the riverside close to the viewer. A (less magnificent) fight with herons can be seen in a painting held at the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Dunkerque with inventory no. P. 279. Restored.
