Das Gemälde breitpinselig in Spachteltechnik ausgeführt, in der typischen Malweise des Künstlers. Der Berghof, aus zwei Steinbauten bestehend, lässt in origineller Weise unter einem, die Teile verbindenden Holzgang einen Durchblick frei. In den tonigen Farben der Holzverkleidungen und dem kühlen Blau des Hintergrunde, leuchtet das Rot eines herabhängenden Tuches und einiger Geranienblüten als malerische Effekt hervor. (1180816) (11)
