Anbei in Kopie eine Expertise von René Millet vom 5. Februar 2019.

VIEW OF THE RIALTO BRIDGE AND THE CAMERLENGHI PALACE

Oil on canvas.
36.7 x 55.5 cm.

A copy of the expert’s report by René Millet dated 5 February 2019 is enclosed.

The painting shows a view across the Grand Canal, past the sunlit Fondaco dei Tedeschi with its piers surmounted by arcades to the Rialto Bridge and the Camerlenghi Palace, which bathed in sunlit on one side while the other remains in the shadow. Behind the Fondaco dei Tedeschi the church tower of San Bartolomeo di Rialto is visible. The artist of our painting was able to use a Canaletto composition such as Il ponte di Rialte da Nord (View of the Rialto Bridge from the North), held at the Pinacotheca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli al Lingotto in Turin for inspiration.
