Vor einem Bauernhaus ein Mann in türkisfarbener Weste, darüber ein braunen Mantel mit weißem Kragen und einen Schlapphut tragend. Er spielt auf seiner Geige wohl zum Tanz auf, worauf das Paar rechts hinter ihm hindeuten könnte. Vor ihm ein Junge mit roter Mütze, einen Dudelsack spielen. Interssierte Zuhörer sind ein Mann mit Pfeifchen und ein kleines Mädchen mit weißer Haube. Das Motiv dieses Geigenspielers taucht in der flämischen Malerei sehr häufig auf; auch ein Dudelsackspieler ist öfters zu finden, so auch bei David Teniers II.. Rest. Riss. (1171935) (18)
