In freier Natur auf einer Wiese sitzend sechs junge Frauen mit leicht geöffnetem Mund beim Singen, eine davon ein weißes Notenblatt haltend. Durch die Verbindung eines grünen Zweiges zwischen einer Frau mit erhobenem Kopf und einer weißen Wolke scheint ihr Gesang bis zum Himmel aufzusteigen. Der Künstler verwendet hier überwiegend Grundfarben, so die Kleider der Sängerinnen in Weiß, Gelb, Rot und Blau, die grüne Wiese und der blaue Himmel in raschem Pinselduktus bei teils pastosem Farbauftrag.
