Darstellung mit Bezug auf die antike Legende, die vor allem seit der Renaissance mehrfach Form gefunden hat. Der griechischen Sage gemäß hatte Herkules mit Antaios zu kämpfen. Antaios bekam seine übermächtige Kraft jedoch von der Erde, was Herkules nach langem Kampf bemerkte; erst als er ihn vom Boden hochhob, konnte er ihn besiegen. Feiner, mit original alter Lackpatina erhaltener Guss auf original Sockelplatte aus Antico-Marmor. (1171044) (11)
