Bronze, patiniert. Über gekantetem, schwarz geädertem, gelbem Marmorsockel die Figur des fliegenden Merkur nach Giambologna (1529-1608). Durch diese Art der Darstellung überwand Giambologna die Grenzen der Skulptur und gelangte in Sphären, die zuvor der Malerei und der Reliefkunst vorbehalten waren, indem er eine fliegende Figur darstellte.
