Weißer Marmor, geschlagen. Auf grünlich-grauem profilierten kantigen Sockel (dieser später). Die männliche Büste mittleren Alters mit Brustpanzer und sich in den Raum hineinkragenden Umhang, zeigt aufallende Ähnlichkeit zu Werken der Genueser Bildhauer Filippo Parodi (1630 – 1702) und seinem Sohn Domenico Parodi (1668 – 1742), welcher nach dem Tod seines Vaters die wichtige Werkstatt in Genua übernahm und in der auch der bedeutende Bildhauer aus Carrara Giacomo Antonio Ponsonelli (um 1649/54 – 1735) arbeitete.
