A further scene depicting Moses with slightly bigger dimensions (133 x 180 cm) was offered for sale in 1989 at Sotheby's (27 November 1989, Lot No. 337a). Here too, the perspective arrangement of the painting's depth was cleverly introduced by painting figures in back view in the foreground.
