Die Blüten üppig gruppiert, in einem irdenen Topf auf kräftiger Marmorplatte. Helle Rosenblüten dominieren zwischen Iris, Primeln und Mohn, blaue Kaiserwinden ziehen in Rispen zur Tischplatte herab. Dort ein Vogelnest mit Gelege einkomponiert, darunter eine hochkriechende Schnecke. Der Malstil, durchaus an der Stilllebenmalerei der holländischen Schule des 17. Jahrhunderts orientiert, zeigt sich bereits in der hellen Auflichtung des 18. Jahrhunderts. (1150732) (11)

The flowers are opulently arranged in an earthenware pot on a strong marble top. The style shows parallels to the tradition of still life painting of the Dutch School of the 17th century but the lighter palette suggests the 18th century.
